Beginners start here! This is an ideal class for the sewists that wants to learn clothing construction with Alicia.
Pajama Pants are one of the quickest and most versatile garments you can sew. They are great for lounging around all year long. This class is the perfect opportunity to learn sewing fundamentals. You will learn to read a pattern, layout the pattern, pin and cut fabric, make an elastic casing and sew a seam and a hem. Sewing machine operation will be covered for the beginners in class.
Unisex, adult sized Patterns will be provided.
If you plan on making these for someone other than yourself, bring waist, hip and outseam measurements ( waist to floor) . If you have a pair of PJ pants they love, bring them too.
Bring the following to class:
2 3/4 yard of non- stretch fabric ( cotton or flannel)
3/4 " inch wide elastic the size of your waist ( i.e. if your waist is 30, bring 30")
